During her fourth stay in Mali since November 2010, Ariane Bosquet has continued her work with materials, particularly those eroded by time. She collects, works and assembles eroded metal gathered from scrap dealers in Bamako, worn paper and fabric, and old wire mesh, which she mixes this time with orange adobe, red laterite and sand from the Koundou dunes in the Dogon village in Mali, where she stayed to create powerful yet fragile works.
